It is unconscionable for Woolworths to mislead its customers with regards to the labelling and advertising of Woolworths fresh organic milk. I refer to grass consumer group's report which exposes the lie of Woolworth's advertising which claims falsely that Woolworths fresh organic milk is 'produced from cows that roam freely and graze in organic pastures" while in reality said cows do not roam in the outdoors but live mostly in barns!
As a Woolworths customer I expect integrity and honesty from Woolworth's advertising and adherence to best animal welfare practice by suppliers of their animal products. In order to restore Woolworth's integrity, I call on Woolworths to (a) immediately to issue a public apology for lying to its consumers and(b) henceforth follow best practice with regards to animal welfare as laid out by Soil Association standards.
Sincerely
