Wouldn’t it be nice if there was a food company that we could trust. One that made sensible, ethical choices. One that carefully selected only the finest quality. Rigorous supply chain management. No sneaky harmful additives. No unethical producers. No ripping off customers.
Then we could buy with confidence, leave the detail up to that food company and trust that our best interests would be met. I wouldn’t mind paying a lot more for that peace of mind.
I thought that company was Woolworths, but sadly it was not. That was just a fairy tale you spun.
Instead of feeling cheated, I am just going to wake up, do my own homework and make the ethical choices myself. I will be growing my own or buying from producers I know and can trust, or doing without.
I think you screwed up a valuable niche in the market with your dishonesty and self-interest.
