I was appalled to read that the milk you label 'organic' in your stores is not in fact organic, and that none of your cows are actually allowed to roam freely or feed on grass. As a committed vegetarian, this is an issue very close to my heart and, as a consumer, I feel that I have been lied to.
In recent months, I have noticed milk bottles with mysterious black stickers covering parts of the labels. When I asked the store manager, he couldn't tell me what this meant. Was he lying to me or have you simply not bothered to inform your staff of these issues?
I will not be buying milk from you until you take significant steps to remedy this situation by addressing the items on the Dairy Commitment List sent to you by Grass consumer action group and, at the very least, amending your labelling and advertising campaigns to correctly reflect your farming practices. I will also be looking into the status of your so-called 'organic' vegetables, before spending any more money on them.
